In spring, Belmont will be raining poetry!

The Project:

The Belmont Raining Poetry project celebrates both art – through the original poetry of our elementary students – and safe routes to schools – through temporary installation of poems on the safe walking routes serving the schools.

How can you participate?

Students from all the Belmont elementary schools are invited to submit an original poem for temporary installation on a sidewalk route. Follow the instruction page here. With support from local parent-teacher associations, the Belmont Cultural Council, Mass Poetry, and Safe Routes to Schools volunteers, we are bringing poetry to our sidewalks!
